Coin Volcano game — how it works

Mechanically, Coin Volcano is a procedure with one branch: spin until three bonus symbols line up, then resolve the bonus. Understanding the game means understanding that branch in detail — everything else on screen is either bookkeeping or decoration. For the product spec (symbols, maths, jackpots) see the fact sheet ; this page walks the machinery.
Two ways to run it
The free demo loads the identical build on virtual credits, no account needed. Real-money play runs through a UKGC-licensed casino after registration and age verification. The game behaves the same in both; only the currency is real.
The interface
Three controls matter. The stake selector steps through preset amounts with plus and minus buttons — UK lobbies run from small change up to the legal £5 ceiling. Spin does what it says. Autoplay repeats spins hands-free and, in British versions, requires a loss limit and spin count before it starts — set both deliberately, not at their maximums. Stake strategy and budgets are a separate subject, covered in the how-to-play guide .
The round, start to finish
- Base spins show blanks and coins on the 3x3 grid. None of them pays — a Sticky Coin can land and wait, but money only moves in the bonus.
- Three bonus symbols across the middle row trigger Hold and Win.
- Triggering coins lock. You get three re-spins.
- Each new coin locks where it lands and resets the counter to three. A Coin Collect symbol, if it appears, sweeps every visible coin and jackpot value at once.
- Volcano eruptions stamp multipliers onto grid positions; a multiplier landing on an already-multiplied cell combines with it rather than replacing it.
- The round ends when the counter hits zero or the grid fills — a full grid adds the Grand on top. Locked values, times any position multipliers, are totalled and paid.
Where it runs
The game is HTML5, so it runs in any current browser on phone, tablet or computer with no installation, and inside licensed operators’ apps. Device-by-device routes — including the Android APK question — are collected under download .
