Playing Coin Volcano 2 — settings and budget

Same principle as the original — the base game pays nothing, everything runs through the bonuses — but on a 3x5 grid with two storeys: Bonus Game and Ultra Bonus Game, plus multiplier cells. Bets of $0.10 – $70, displayed in CAD in Canadian lobbies.
Steps
- Try the demo first — the Ultra Bonus is learned by playing.
- Set the bet; on a fixed budget, favour frequency (low bet, more spins).
- Three collect symbols = bonus; coins lock, re-spins reset to 3 with every new coin, multiplier cells apply to the final tally.
- The Ultra Bonus (entered by trigger or Bonus Buy at roughly 75–100x, by version, where offered) multiplies the layers, not the ceiling: the max stays 500x.
Original or sequel: which bet for which profile
The sequel’s ceiling (500x) is five times lower than the original’s, but its events are more frequent. Concretely: for long sessions on a small budget, the sequel at minimum bet delivers more moments of play; to chase a rare but tall peak, stay with the original . Choosing the operator follows the same province-first checks as any 3 Oaks title.
The two-storey bonus and the problem of stopping
Every other game in this family hands you a clean exit. The bonus fills the grid or the counter empties, the round pays, and you are back on base spins with a decision to make. This one adds a landing between those floors, and the landing is the part worth planning for.
The Bonus Game can escalate into the Ultra Bonus, and the escalation is legible while it happens — cells lighting, the round refusing to close. So the moment you would normally use to stop arrives already dressed as a moment to continue. That is not a trick; it is what a two-storey feature is for. It is simply worth knowing that this game removes the natural pause its predecessor gave you for free.
The fix is in how you phrase the stop rule, not in willpower. “After the next bonus” is a condition an escalating feature is built to defer, and it will defer it several times in an evening. A balance figure or a clock time cannot be renegotiated the same way, so use one of those. And keep the arithmetic straight while you decide: the second storey raises how often a round ends well, not how well the best round can end. The ceiling stays 500x whether you reach the Ultra Bonus or not, which means sitting through extra layers in the hope of a bigger maximum is waiting for something the paytable already ruled out.
